SharkLeash Gen 2 was designed as a modular shark rig system. The Bite Section is the replaceable wire leader and hook portion for anglers who already own a Gen 2 rig or want extra sections ready to swap in after a hard fight.

If a shark swallows the hook deep enough that the wire has to be cut, you can replace only the Bite Section instead of rebuilding your entire setup from scratch.
